Samsung debuts CLP-650N laser printer
Samsung announces the network-ready CLP-650N laser printer, with print speeds up to 21 ppm in black and color and standard Hi-Speed USB 2.0, IEEE 1284 Parallel, and Ethernet 10/100 Base TX connectivity.
The printer offers an impressive duty cycle of 45,000 pages-per-month, an 850 sheet paper capacity when fully configured and a fast 600 MHz processor with 256 MB of memory built in (expandable to 512 MB). The printer also easily integrates into both Mac and PC environments with its built-in PCL6 and Postscript emulators. This flexible feature enables users in mixed computer environments, such as schools or graphic arts departments to incorporate the printer into the same network.
The CLP-650N provides a quick warm-up time, producing its first page in less than 16 seconds, a low cost per page of 2.4 cents in monochrome and 12.1 cents in color , sharp text and vibrant graphics with its 2400 x 600 dpi effective output, and quiet printing with its NO-NOIS™ engine technology.
