The Lacie AIT1 is a tape drive. This device is ideal for workstation backup and is compatible with PC and Mac operating systems. Hot-swappable U&I technology (in "U&I," the "U" stands for USB and the "I" stands for "IEEE 1394.") enables end-users to quickly connect to most computers easily. USB 2.0 and Firewire options make this tape drive ideal for shared use within a workgroup, satisying tons of back up requirements. Its compact design offers ease of incorporation into numerous desktop environment configurations and it's sturdy design makes it safe and portable.
