Its Serial ATA (Advanced Technology Attachment) interface provides faster data transfer speeds, better system cooling airflow, more bandwidth, more headroom for speed increases and better data integrity improving productivity. SATA point-to-point topology provides a direct path between the disk drive and the PC enabling easy aggregation of multiple disk drives into a single workstation. This offers the end-user additional benefits of dedicated bandwidth, the ability to more easily identify device failures and scalability.
