EPSON UltraChrome Ink offer an Epson first: a 7-color ink system. This technology allows the user to choose between three different black ink modes, to optimize the density for various media types and printing applications. These revolutionary super penetrating pigment inks are engineered to deliver incredible print quality and color brilliance rivaling that of dye based inks, with a lightfastness rating of up to 82 years under glass on certain Epson media. The wide color gamut of these inks, combined with the evenly milled microencapsulated pigments, make it the perfect choice for virtually any high quality printing application such as prepress proofing and photography. The EPSON Stylus Pro 10600 printer can use a 6-color version of EPSON UltraChrome that does not include Light Black ink but supports the changeable Matte Black ink mode.
